The Basic Ag Marketing Webinar is meant to be an introductory course covering the mechanics of cash, futures, and options markets. This webinar is designed to meet the needs of agriculture producers who are new to commodity marketing and are looking for techniques to improve the prices they receive for their crops and livestock. The webinar format is interactive and will allow for live questions. Each webinar session will be recorded for re-view if you miss a session or for additional viewing to clarify concepts.

  • January 8th – Cash Market, Basics
  • January 15th – Using the Futures Market to Manage Price Risk
  • January 22nd – Using the Options Market to Manage Price Risk
  • January 29th – Price Seasonality, Selecting a Broker, Pre & Post Harvest Market Planning
